Full-Time Public Safety Officer, F&M Bank Arena

A Full-Time Public Safety Officer will be responsible for securing the building and equipment of the F&M Bank Arena and enforcing access throughout the building.

Requirements

• 18 Years Old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good judgment
• Ability to interact with the public
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all matters pertaining to security/personnel
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a desire to serve the company and public
• Experience working with the public this includes customer service experience
• Always maintain a positive demeanor
• Excellent Communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Must have or be able to obtain TN Private Protective Services Unarmed Security Guard license
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• As a condition of employment, qualified applicants will be subject to a background check, including a criminal history check, driving history and character references
• Possess a valid driver’s license, possess a suitable driving history and be insurable by SS&E’s insurance carrier (without conditions)
• Essential Physical Requirements: considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, including sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing stairs, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, balancing, and handling of materials
