Job Description
National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support their Fredericksburg, VA team. The role involves patient assessments, medication management, and providing quality care while adhering to company metrics. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to work under the guidance of a physician in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Active and valid practitioner license
- Completed Master's Degree from an accredited graduate school program AND current NCCPA or AANPCP certification
- Possession of, or eligibility to be granted, a valid license, DEA, and NPI in the state of practice
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- Excellent patient care skills and awareness of the legal implications of work and words in healthcare
- Knowledge of business/healthcare operations and standards of best practice
- Knowledge of EMR and/or Electronic Practice Management systems and technologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word and Excel
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with resourcefulness and proactivity
- Excellent organizational/multi-tasking skills with acute attention to detail
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with a diverse population
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
