Fleet Mechanic

We are looking for a Fleet Mechanic to join our Maintenance and Operations team in Hector, Minnesota. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our diverse fleet of diesel trucks and equipment, directly contributing to Sterling Logistics' success, efficiency, and safety efforts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute routine inspections and PM on diesel tractors, trailers, and associated equipment
• Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic software and tools
• Complete Documentation: Accurately document all repairs, parts used, and time spent using our fleet management system
• Ensure Compliance: Perform work in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
