Civil Project Engineer I

New Leaf Energy seeks a Civil Project Engineer I to join our team supporting our Power Plants division. The successful candidate will work with internal engineers, engineering consultants, EPC firms to support construction-level designs and respond to field RFI of renewable energy projects. This position reports to our Principal Civil Engineer.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (Civil P.E. license preferred)
• 4–8 years in construction management, site development, entitlement, or environmental permitting
• Specific experience in Solar PV or Energy Storage is a significant plus
• Experience in cost estimation, reviewing engineering services contracts, managing subconsultants
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HYDROCAD (or similar design tools) is desired
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead meetings with clients, regulatory officials, and consultants
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
