Role Overview

As a PET/CT Technologist (Float) per diem, you will administer radioactive chemical compounds, perform patient imaging, and provide images and data analysis to physicians for diagnostic interpretation. You will work in a collaborative environment with radiologists, technologists, and healthcare professionals to deliver precise and accurate results. This role requires a strong commitment to high-quality care and a focus on patient safety.

What You Will Do

Administer radioactive chemical compounds, perform patient imaging, process and enhance images, provide images and data analysis to physicians, monitor patients' conditions, and maintain safety measures to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.

Requirements

• Diploma from a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) program (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB and/or ARRT-N)
• Additional certifications: NMTCB(CT) and/or ARRT(CT)
• Active New York State License
• At least 2 years of experience in the field
