
Job description
The Senior Reconciliation Analyst plays a key role within Finance Operations, supporting the Reconciliation Manager in the delivery of effective daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation activities. The role is responsible for performing and reviewing General Ledger reconciliations in line with NewDay reconciliation policy, developing a detailed understanding of Finance Operations balance sheet accounts and identifying reconciliation risks through performance metrics and outstanding items.
Own and support delivery of reconciliation controls to ensure Financial Control Framework (FCF) objectives are met, minimising operational losses and ensuring timely completion of GL and balance sheet reconciliations in line with policy. Drive efficiency, automation, and risk reduction across reconciliation processes, working cross‐functionally and in close partnership with Finance Systems to optimise ReconNet configuration, automated match rates, and new system changes.
We're looking for a Senior Reconciliation Analyst with 5+ years experience in a financial reconciliation environment, strong numeric skills, and knowledge of clearing bank processes and Bank & cash Book reconciliation processes.
