Job Description
Nextdoor is seeking a Product Designer - Design Systems to lead the design of its internal design system, Blocks, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to maintain a tight coupling between the Figma library and codebase. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in systems design, UX design, product design, or a related field, with a strong track record of designing and shipping user-centered products.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in systems design, UX design, product design, or a related field
- Deep expertise in design systems, interaction design, and usability principles
- Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Deep expertise in Figma’s design system tooling
- Familiarity with technical integrations and workflows that connect Figma to code
- Strong storytelling and communication skills
- Experience conducting A/B tests and working with analytics tools
- Passion for staying ahead of industry trends, particularly in UX for social media
