Ascendion - Node Js developer/Senior Backend developer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Node.js) to join our engineering team and play a key role in building scalable, high-performance backend systems.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
• Build and manage microservices-based architectures
• Develop highly available and fault-tolerant systems on AWS
• Implement asynchronous processing using Kafka or AWS SQS
• Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of backend services
• Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting using Datadog and/or Splunk
• Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance optimization
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure quick resolution
• Contribute to backend best practices, coding standards, and system improvements
