Node.js Backend Developer

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Node.js Backend Developer to help build high-performance APIs and workflows that power our planning and booking assistant.

What You Will Do

Build and maintain backend services using Node.js (Express) and integrate them with travel APIs (flights, hotels, activities). Implement RESTful APIs and services to support AI-powered trip planning and booking.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience using Node.js
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and async programming
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)
• Familiarity with message queues (e.g. Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka) websockets and caching mechanisms
• Ability to write clean, modular, testable code
