Job Description
Join Nimber and be part of a team that's building a data platform and architecture. We're looking for a Database Administrator to perform routine maintenance tasks, design and implement database structures, and optimize database queries and indexes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Minimal 7 years experience as a database administrator or in a related role
- Proficiency in database management systems (SQL Server, MySQL, NoSQL DB)
- Strong SQL skills for query optimization and data manipulation
- Strong Microsoft AZURE capabilities
- Experience managing database migrations, SSIS packages, and SSAS
- Ability to diagnose and resolve database-related issues
- Experience in performance monitoring and tuning of databases
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, security and integrity
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
