Principal Software Engineer

Nomura is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join its Global Execution Services Technology team in Mumbai, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the TradeSpex product suite, contributing to feature development, and collaborating with global teams.

Requirements

• Excellent technical skills in Core Java, MS SQL, UNIX, DevOps, CI/CD, Gitlab, Nexus
• Strong Java Multi-threading, concurrency, synchronization, and memory management
• Strong knowledge and experience of micro-services-based architecture
• Knowledge/experience of front-end technologies like React.js or Angular
• Strong skills in application performance management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Quick learner
• Highly proactive and takes initiative to identify problem areas and evolve solutions
• Investment Banking domain knowledge, especially capital markets and Equity Trading Markets
