The Dairy/Frozen Food Assistant Manager must possess reasonable knowledge in storing, maintaining, and location of product, as well as demonstrate competency in, inventory control, ordering and receiving product. The Dairy/Frozen Food Assistant Manager must also possess strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Requirements
- Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Dairy/Frozen Food operations, safety, and sanitation
- Fulfill or oversee weekly product orders while following all operating procedures
- Adhere to shelf management as it applies to following suggested plan-o-gram layout and new/discontinued items
- Follow and enforce proper rotation of product to ensure the freshest product available for the customers
- Adhere to company policy through proper receiving, handling, storing, and stocking of product
- Assist in achievement of financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization, minimization of shrink and supply expense
- Training and development of Dairy/Frozen Food associates
- Direct subordinates in implementing plan of action and goal attainment
- Complete all necessary paperwork relating to Dairy/Frozen Food Department
- Assist in the implementation, compliance with and execution of all Company initiatives as they pertain to Dairy/ Frozen (ie. FIM, Project Renew)
- Ensure that the coolers, freezers and cases are at proper temperature and in working condition
- Follow direction of Dairy Frozen Manager, and act in their place when absent
