Senior Lead, Software Engineer

Northern Trust, a Fortune 500 company, is a globally recognized, award-winning financial institution that has been in continuous operation since 1889. The Senior Lead, Software Engineer will work on building a data model for Private Equity and Hedge Fund businesses of Northern Trust Asset Management using Microsoft Azure services.

Requirements

• Analyse and build the data model from requirements of Private Equity, Hedge Fund businesses of Northern Trust Asset Management upcoming Alts datawarehouse.
• Analyse the source data while working with upstream teams and 50 South development team to produce schema.
• Build pipelines to extract required data from upstream systems and model them for reporting to clients and downstream systems.
• Break down requirements to domain, model and entity data for setup in datawarehouse.
• Able to define the Raw, Transform and Curate layers for data consumption.
• Liaise with various vendor products, internal applications to refine the requirements to help technical team solutions.
• Participate in data modeling discussions and ensure the dataware house model meets business needs
• Communicate status (written and verbal) to project team and management
