Legal Counsel

As a Legal Counsel, you will provide legal support across an international portfolio of energy projects and technologies, from acquisition to disposition, requiring a minimum of 2+ years of post-call legal experience and transactional experience in M&A, divestments, joint venture and/or partnership arrangements and financing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of post-call legal experience as a lawyer in a top-tiered law firm and/or in-house environment.
• Transactional experience required - M&A, divestments, joint venture and/or partnership arrangements and financing.
• Experience within the infrastructure sector is desired (preferably in the energy space).
• Combination of experience with project development, management, construction, real estate and/or operations is an asset.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in a Canadian province. License to practice in another jurisdiction within the Americas or Europe is an asset.
