Job description
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program. The role will be responsible for ensuring process execution and efficiencies in the development, testing, and release of software deliverables.
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will support individual scrum/sprint teams, create Jira dashboard tools, and offer suggestions for improvement to software leadership. They will also ensure GBSD software is in compliance with industry guidelines and contractual requirements.
This role requires a strong understanding of software development lifecycle experience, process health, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval.
