Job description
Northrop Grumman Strategic Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer for Re-Entry System Electronics (RSE) in the Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector located in Roy, UT. This position will be with our Payloads IPT of the Sentinel Program. The role will involve determining tasking for yourself and others with minimum oversight, understanding and applying system requirements, and leading and mentoring team members.
Determine tasking for yourself and others with minimum oversight, understand and apply system requirements, assist in all phases of the system lifecycle, evaluate electrical hardware performance, perform model validation through test and analysis, conduct testing through all phases, maintain design documentation, create technical reports, and present technical information.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university with 8 years of related experience, an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance, and experience with technical leadership responsibilities, complex information systems, and Agile.
