Patient Care Technician- Medical Pulmonary Unit- Nights

Patient Care Technician assists patients with personal care needs, exercises, and ambulation under the supervision of a RN/LPN. Obtains patient vital signs, collects specimens, and documents basic patient care into the electronic medical record.

Requirements

• High school degree
• Completion of an accredited CNA course and the successful completion of the CNA certification exam
• EMT or paramedics training course
• Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program with the completion of at least one major clinical medical or surgical rotation
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
