General Accountant

We're looking for a full-time General Accountant with a broad range of responsibilities, including full cycle accounting within the construction industry. The role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and requires 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• High school diploma, post-secondary education in Accounting/Bookkeeping preferred
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
• Experience with full cycle accounting
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to analyze business process and maintain internal controls
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate with team members up and down the organization
• Team player
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
