Network Engineer

Role Overview

Nightwing is seeking a motivated network engineer to implement, maintain and support the lab network infrastructure. The engineer will design and implement infrastructure solutions that enhance mission execution and support command decision-making.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include designing and implementing infrastructure solutions, supporting the integration of new technologies and equipment, assessing network topology and device configurations, and providing user support for Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of directly relevant experience in network administration, proficiency with multiple operating systems, and strong knowledge and experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active DoD Secret clearance, TS/SCI clearance is preferred
• DHS Suitability
• 5+ years of directly relevant experience in network administration
• Proficiency with multiple operating systems, including Linux/Unix and MacOS
• Strong knowledge and experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Experience and knowledge of networking and network administration
• Skilled in working with virtual desktop environments (Citrix, VMware)
