Scanning Technician

Role Overview

Nightwing seeks a Scanning Technician to provide document scanning support to the declassification program in the Warrenton, VA area. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, independent worker who can also work in and contribute to a team environment.

What You Will Do

Perform hardcopy scanning, microform scanning, oversized scanning, and image formatting/conversion. Review scanned document images electronically to verify accuracy and quality.

Requirements

• Review and prepare files and documents based on conversion requirements
• Perform hardcopy scanning, microform scanning, oversized scanning, and image formatting/conversion
• Ability to use various scanning and viewing equipment and tools
• Review scanned document images electronically to verify accuracy and quality
• Provide daily preventative maintenance of all scanning equipment
• Working knowledge of customer systems preferred
• Must have an understanding of security requirements and ability to adhere to them
• Lift cartons weighing up to 35 pounds
