Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and eligible for registration in the province of Nova Scotia
• Completion of an approved Critical Care Course/Critical Care Certificate/CCNP or Emergency Nursing Program (ENP)
• A minimum of 3 years Critical Care nursing experience
• BLS certification
• Current ACLS/RQI ALS certification
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Evidence of ongoing relevant education
• Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain good relationships with patients/residents, families and co-workers
• Willingness to do ambulance transports
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
