Job Description
The Strait Regional Centre for Education (SRCE) is seeking qualified Janitors for the 2025-2026 school year across the SRCE boundary. The Centre aims to support student learning, achievement, and well-being in Nova Scotia, employing approximately 375 children and 1,050 employees. They operate 20 schools and locations, including Antigonish, Guysborough, Inverness, and Richmond counties.
Requirements
- Good physical health to perform janitorial and cleaner duties
- First Aid and WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain
- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willingness to work as part of the school support team
- Successful completion of Regional Centre for Education Sponsored Training Program
