Job Description
Novipax is seeking a QA Technician to perform in-process visual and dimensional inspection, conduct product testing, and ensure compliance to product specification and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Perform in-process visual and dimensional inspection
- Conduct product testing to meet product specification and customer requirements
- Verify and interpret spec sheet and communicate with Product Design if there is a spec variation
- Approve or reject product based on compliance to product specification, work instructions, product deviation, food safety, and customer requirements
- Adhere to and enforce standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and work instructions
- Perform pre-operational inspections and line clearance verification
- Ensure test results are recorded, are current, and are accurate
- Monitor and ensure test and inspection equipment is maintained in working order
- Initiate corrective actions when non-conformances are found
- Monitor raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity
- In-put testing and dimensional records on SQC database to produce work order reports
- Communicate with Production Supervisor, and Machine Operators when adjustments are needed
- Other duties as directed by Quality Manager/Supervisor or higher authority
