Electrician

Role Overview

Safely and effectively performs diagnostic testing and repairs on extensive electrical systems, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems in order to ensure continuous operation of production equipment.

What You Will Do

Performs planned electrical maintenance on all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process, diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment, and modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades.

Must be knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blue print reading, and have strong technical/functional skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalency
• 2-year Electro-Mechanical technical degree preferred
• 3-5 years related experience
• Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blue print reading, and welding and fabrication
• Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities
• Previous mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities
• Knowledge of PLC and PC controls
• Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team
