Extrusion Operator

Role Overview

Extrusion Operator will consistently and safely operate machines at or above standard levels of operation, troubleshoot and correct machine-related problems, and provide innovative solutions for production issues.

What You Will Do

The Extrusion Operator will complete end-of-shift paperwork, provide support and guidance to less experienced personnel, and inspect and recognize defective product.

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment as a Setup Operator or Extrusion Machine Operator
• Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills
• Ability to show up for work prior to shift and be prepared to get the day going on time
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting experience working with Extrusion Machines
• Excellent communication skills, detailed record keeping per the prescribed frequency
• Analytical and math skills
• Ability to perform quality checks and have an understanding of production measurement tools
• Knowledge of product quality standards
• Manual dexterity
