
Job description
As a Thermoforming Operator Associate, you will work in a manufacturing setting, operating and adjusting machines to produce plastic parts. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment, ensuring customer requirements are met, and performing quality measurements. You will work closely with process technicians and other support staff to ensure maximum quality levels and machine uptime.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include operating and adjusting machines, performing quality measurements, and troubleshooting needed repairs. You will also generate breakdown work orders and document downtimes. You will work an 8 to 12-hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods, and will be required to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
This role requires three to five years of previous mechanical and/or technical experience in a related manufacturing setting. You will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, and possess problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
