AI Engineer

NTT DATA is seeking an AI Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Python for ML pipelines, Apache Spark/Pyspark for large-scale data processing, and experience building and operating end-to-end ML pipelines. The role will involve hands-on knowledge of HTTP-based model serving, strong understanding of low-latency requirements, performance tuning, and scaling real-time inference services. Additional skills in streaming technologies, containerization, and deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent platforms will be an advantage.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python for ML pipelines
• Experience with Apache Spark/Pyspark for large-scale data processing
• Proven experience building and operating end-to-end ML pipelines
• Experience with config-driven pipelines and reusable ML frameworks
• Experience deploying real-time models exposed as REST APIs
• Hands-on knowledge of HTTP-based model serving
• Strong understanding of low-latency requirements, performance tuning, and scaling real-time inference services
• Knowledge of streaming technologies such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, Spark Streaming, Logstash, or similar
