Job Description
Supervises the daily operations of the Clinical Laboratory to ensure uninterrupted workflow, accurate and timely results, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Supervises daily operations of Clinical Laboratory
- Assists with hiring, training, and evaluating staff
- Responsible for section's technical competency program
- Oversees section's inventory program
- Schedules staff coverage
- Conducts staff meetings and continuing education/training sessions
- Helps to develop and implement new procedures/policies
- Ensures section compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Coordinates section participation in approved proficiency programs
- Prepares and submits various reports
- Maintains technical competence
- Promotes teamwork among staff members
- Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position
