Job Description
We're seeking a Gas System Compliance Specialist (Type B) to join our Engineering team based at our Port Pirie operations. The role involves managing, maintaining, and auditing Type B gas systems and appliances, providing technical expertise, and leading breakdown responses, equipment modifications, and new installations.
Requirements
- Licensed or certified to work with Type B gas systems, including installation, maintenance, and servicing of gas appliances (AS 3814).
- Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Trade Qualification.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in maintenance or industrial gas systems, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze technical issues, develop risk-based engineering solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills for collaborating across teams.
