Job description
As a Software Engineer, Senior Specialist, you'll play a critical role in designing and delivering high-performance, low-latency back-end solutions that power Nasdaq's North American and European markets. You'll thrive in this role if you're a technically strong, collaborative engineer who brings a passion for building resilient, scalable systems in a fast-paced, high-impact environment with a global footprint.
Design, develop, and maintain low-latency, real-time back-end applications that support critical equities and options market infrastructure. Own the full software development lifecycle — from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and production support.
This position requires a technically strong, collaborative engineer with 8+ years of experience as a back-end software engineer, strong proficiency in Java and Springboot, and solid experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases, and microservices architecture.
