Vessel Technical Superintendent (Expatriate)

Responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective technical management of assigned vessels. Oversees maintenance, repairs, dry-docking, and ensures compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering, Nautical Science, Logistics, or related discipline
• Relevant certifications, such as STCW, ISM/ISPS compliance, and OPITO-approved training
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas marine logistics, including vessel types (e.g., PSVs, AHTS, FPSOs)
• Familiarity with Nigerian maritime laws and offshore operations in the Gulf of Guinea
• Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in vessel technical management, with at least 2 years in a superintendent or equivalent shore-based role
• Experience with dry-docking, repair planning, and project supervision
• Familiarity with ISM Code, Class Rules, SOLAS, MARPOL, and other maritime regulations
