As an Intern, you'll work alongside your on-site manager and Octagon's account team to help create unforgettable moments for fans. Expect a hands-on role with 8–12 hour shifts outdoors at official fan festival zones—either near the host stadium or in the heart of the host cities. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to gain real-world experience at the largest sporting event on the planet.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field or recent graduate
- 0-1+ years' work or internship experience in events or a customer-service oriented role
- A fan or expert of soccer, basic knowledge of event management is preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Desire to learn and develop a career in event marketing
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Capacity to become knowledgeable about our client’s industry, brand and product offerings
- Ability and comfort level to communicate with consumers, potential consumers or fans in an event setting
- Strong ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative and solve problems optimally and independently
