Data Modeler

Hudson Insurance Group is seeking a Data Modeler to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data models that support our evolving data ecosystem. This role is pivotal in establishing standardized, scalable, and well-governed data structures across our Azure data platform.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data assets.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure models are properly implemented within the Azure Data Platform.
• Define and manage data standards, naming conventions, and metadata to ensure consistency and reusability across data domains.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze data requirements and ensure alignment with industry models such as ACORD for P&C insurance.
• Use Erwin Data Modeler to maintain version control, lineage, and documentation of data models.
• Support data governance efforts by maintaining high-quality metadata and complying with organizational data policies.
• Review data structures and integration designs to ensure scalability, performance, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with ETL and pipeline developers to align data ingestion and transformation logic with established data models.
• Participate in peer reviews, design sessions, and model walkthroughs to validate design choices.
