Senior Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

Join a small, expert team at Ohpen, a cloud-native fintech, as a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and operate business-critical AWS infrastructure at scale. The team owns deployments and self-service environments for the Savings & Investments part of Ohpen's core-banking platform.

What You Will Do

Design AWS architecture, standardize Terraform modules, build tooling for safe self-service access to infrastructure, automate environment provisioning and deployments, tighten monitoring and observability, and resolve complex incidents.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies, including designing and operating AWS-based architectures in production
• Fluency in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code
• Comfortable working across networking, Windows/Linux systems, and CI/CD pipelines
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with automation, monitoring, and observability tooling
• Understanding of cloud security principles and IAM
• Ability to build secure, compliant setups for regulated or security-focused environments
