The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance to manufacturing processes and procedures, achieving key performance indicators, and developing operational excellence. The role involves planning, executing, and controlling production, managing talent, driving cost culture, and implementing projects.
Requirements
- Production Planning & Execution
- Liaison with central and local procurement
- Analyze breakdowns and put corrective measures to improve OEE
- Lead the AM Pillar team in WCM/Operational Excellence
- Control over warehouses for raw & packing materials and finished goods
- Ensure compliance to Safety and Food Safety requirements from manufacturing function
- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements
- Review and monitor operating budgets
- Develop and train the team to improve the effectiveness of implementation of best/ next practices in the area of work
- Identify training needs of team members in order to enhance skills and develop/maintain a motivated team
- Review requirements of production consumables and ensure availability
- Review cost of production consumables and ensure adherence to budgets
- Selection of Capacity, Capability, Appropriate Technology, Energy requirements etc for Opex and Capex Projects
- Execute implementation of projects within timelines and cost with support of Engineering Team
- Assist in commissioning and start-up of new projects
