Material Handler - Crane Operator will be responsible for receiving and storing inventory, operating forklifts and cranes, and maintaining a safe work environment. What You Will Do

The Material Handler - Crane Operator will receive inbound inventory, verify accuracy, and place materials into designated storage locations. They will also operate forklifts, hand trucks, cranes, and other material handling equipment to move materials within the facility and to/from trucks or trailers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to operate forklifts, and material handling equipment safely
• Must be able to operate overhead cranes utilizing pendant radio controls
• Must maintain certifications for required equipment
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools
• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measure
• Knowledge of safe and best practices for loading and unloading materials from trailers or trucks
• Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines
• Ability to use measuring tools such as box calipers, slide dial calipers, and micrometers
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints
• Ability to speak, write, and comprehend conversational English
