Solutions Engineer, Japan

We are looking for a Japan-based Sales Engineer to support Optimism's enterprise and institutional adoption across the Japanese market. This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering, and is critical to helping large institutions evaluate, design, and deploy production-grade on-chain systems using the OP Stack.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Pre-Sales role
• Background in blockchain infrastructure, cloud platforms, distributed systems, or financial infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Ethereum or EVM-based systems (Layer 1 or Layer 2 strongly preferred)
• Experience working with regulated institutions (banks, asset managers, exchanges, payments firms) is a strong plus
