Job Description
OPO Health is seeking a Medical Social Worker to implement and support standards of care for medical social workers. This role involves assessing patient psychosocial status, social evaluations, and maintaining clinical records. The Social Worker will work with patients, families, and community agencies to improve patient and organization healthcare services.
Requirements
- Graduate of a bachelor's program in Social Work (Bachelor's or Master's/Doctoral Degree) accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
- Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Minimum of one year experience in health care.
- Experience in Home Health care required.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured.
