Engineer, Airframe Stress Analysis

Otto Aviation is seeking an Engineer, Airframe Stress Analysis to join their team. The ideal candidate has relevant stress analysis experience and a willingness to learn. The role involves performing stress analysis of metallic and composite structural components, assemblies, and systems, as well as creating and utilizing Finite Element Models (FEM).

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience (or 1+ with M.S.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of airframe static and fatigue stress analysis for both composite and metallic structures
• Knowledge of industry standard classical analysis methods
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis methods (FEMAP experience is a plus)
• Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6/3DX and ENOVIA V5/V6/3DX is a plus
