Production Technician

Role Overview

The Production Technician role is Owens Corning's entry-level manufacturing position. This full-time, permanent position involves 12-hour shifts and offers a career-launching opportunity with formal training programs and extensive room for growth.

What You Will Do

Learn processes including printing, wrapping, banding, and staging finished units for the warehouse. Perform a broad range of inspection activities following standard work guidelines. Complete daily housekeeping and other standard work items for areas of accountability.

Requirements

• 2 years' experience in a fast-paced industrial team-based environment
• Ability to use equipment or tools as necessary in accordance with all safety rules
• Basic mathematical skills
• Comfortable with basic computer skills including email and data entry
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Desire to learn and grow within the company
• Growth mindset
• Ability to work days, nights, and overtime
• Meet physical demands of the position
• Must be 18 years of age or older
