Lead Electrical Engineer

Lead Electrical Engineer role at PAE in Seattle, WA, responsible for providing technical and project leadership on building-systems projects, ensuring high-quality engineering outcomes delivered on time and within budget. Requirements

• Project team leadership and discipline management
• Preparation of deliverable documents including narratives, calculations, drawings and specifications
• Client meetings and coordination with external and internal project teams
• Independent application of engineering judgment and techniques to complete projects from concepts through construction
• Proficiency in electrical system distribution, lighting and power system design
• Assembly of effective project teams
• Development of project workplans, tasks and assignments for the team
• Interdisciplinary coordination
• Application of building codes and electrical industry standards
• Engineering calculations and equipment selection
• Site visits and issues reports
• Training, guidance and mentorship for staff
• Updates to master specifications and standards, and improvement of company processes
• Engineering application of distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Energy analysis using Easy Power
• Client relationships and quality management plan (QMP) oversight
• Other duties as assigned
