Job Description
911 Telecommunicator/Emergency Call Taker responsible for receiving and prioritizing emergency calls, dispatching EMS units, and providing pre-arrival instructions. Requires high school diploma, 2 years of customer service experience, and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of customer service or call center experience, or a related college degree
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to type at least 30 wpm with 80% accuracy
- Pass background check, drug/nicotine screenings, physical exam, and competency test
