Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Data Platform Engineer to define the technical vision and strategy for data-driven platforms on Azure, coordinating multiple projects and ensuring governance, compliance, and sustainability. As a team leader, you will be responsible for developing reference architectures, evaluating innovative Azure features, and conducting risk and compliance assessments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud data platform architecture
- Proven leadership experience
- Expert knowledge of lakehouse architectures, mirroring, Delta Lake, fabric, and governance
- Strategic thinking, change management, and stakeholder management
- Fluent German and very good English skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
