Job Description
The Head Start Floater Associate Teacher is responsible for the academic, social and emotional growth and development, and supervision of children. The IAT assists with the design and integration of classroom goals and objectives, and provides substitute coverage in the absence of a teacher.
Requirements
- California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit
- AA Degree or higher in early childhood education, child development, or a related field
- Valid Class C California driver's license
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Knowledge of Creative Curriculum
- Bilingual
- TB test clearance
- Verification of Immunizations
- DOJ clearance
- Physical Requirements: lift 30 pounds, observe, see, hear, and respond to children's needs
