Network Engineer

Parsons is seeking a Network Engineer to support the cutting-edge Drone Armor counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) program. The Network Engineer will plan, support, and evaluate complex network systems and ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the networks that enable Drone Armor development, test, and operational environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is required with 5 years of experience
• 8 years of relevant network engineering experience may be substituted for education
• Experience planning, supporting, and evaluating complex network systems
• Experience providing highly skilled technical assistance in network planning, engineering, and architecture
• Experience developing technical standards, evaluating new network products, and providing solutions for network problems
• Experience with network capacity planning, performance monitoring, and availability/bandwidth metrics
• Experience performing network equipment OS/version upgrades and maintaining network documentation and diagrams
• Experience handling escalated network issues and leading or directing other network engineers
