Job Description
Centurion is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Longwall Superintendent to lead longwall production crews and contribute to a high-performing team. The role involves overseeing longwall operations, coordinating with other teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering production targets in a dynamic underground environment. This position is a key part of a growing Peabody Energy operation focused on coal production and infrastructure development.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in longwall coal mining operations, with proven leadership
- Statutory Supervisor qualifications (S123, G2 or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a NSW or QLD underground coal mine
- Exceptional understanding of longwall equipment, processes and underground safety standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
