Job Description
Perpay is a fast-growing financial startup seeking a Data Engineering Internship (2026). Interns will learn data pipeline development, tools design, and infrastructure analysis. The role involves working on real-world data projects and collaborating with business owners. It's a chance to gain professional experience in a tech startup environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or will receive a Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, Information Systems, Mathematics or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Experience using SQL for acquiring and transforming data.
- Experience with database and / or data warehouse operations.
- Exposure to third-party APIs
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages (Python preferred)
- Bonus: Previous work experience in a technical field
- Bonus: Exposure to open-source data tooling and cloud computing systems
- Bonus: Understanding of data types and storage paradigms
