Peterson Smith is a state-of-the-art, full-service, 24/7 equine hospital located in Ocala, Florida, the state's horse country. Established over 30 years ago by Dr. John L. Peterson and Dr. Johnny Mac Smith, it has grown into one of the largest and most highly recognized equine practices in the United States. Services provided range from single patient management to large farm consultations, offering continuing education opportunities for both veterinarians and horse owners. Peterson Smith also founded the Advanced Fertility Center. The Advanced Fertility Center (AFC) conducts all aspects of assisted reproduction at its 91-acre facility in Summerfield, Florida.
