Job Description
This Java Architect position focuses on migrating a legacy Spring MVC application to Spring Boot 3.3, modernizing applications and optimizing performance. The role involves architectural guidance, containerization, performance tuning, and collaboration with the OpenShift team. The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, along with 8+ years of experience in Java development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Java development
- 3+ years in an architectural or lead developer role
- Strong experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Java applications
- Deep expertise in WebSphere Application Server (including WebSphere Extreme Scale for caching)
- Strong experience with JDK 17
- Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and related technologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
