Job Description
The company is looking for a SDET Engineer to join their team in Chennai, India. The role involves extensive web application and API testing, automation testing, and test management. A strong understanding of software architecture and Test Management tools is required.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as SDET
- Extensive experience in Web application and API testing methodologies
- Extensive experience in automation testing tools and programming (Selenium)
- Solid understanding of Behavior Driven Development tools and Build tools
- Knowledge on application architecture from front end and back end.
- Test Management Tool (e.g. Xray, ALM)
- Project Management and Defect Reporting (e.g. JIRA)
- Source Control (e.g. GitLab, Bitbucket)
- Programming or scripting skills is a plus, including basic SQL or similar concept to extract data for test
